AUSTRALIA: Land Beyond Time
More like another planet than another continent – Australia is a fascinating sanctuary of ancient life forms, preserved, protected and changed by this giant island over millions of years of isolation from all other land masses. Our film looks at the 4.5-billion-year evolution of this driest inhabited continent from its birth as a part of the Super-continent Gondwana, recording the lonely journey north from Antarctica to its present location.

The production of Antarctica was our introduction to the exciting world of large format film on the giant screen – up to ten times the size of a normal cinema screen. Directed by John Weiley, ANTARCTICA was co-produced by David Flatman and is still one of the perennial IMAX® favourites in large format theatres around the world.
